Corrections Policy

We publish about DOT compliance — a topic where accuracy matters, and errors can affect someone’s job. If you find an error on this site, we want to know.

What we consider a correction

  • A factual error (wrong regulation citation, wrong date, wrong number, misidentified rule)
  • A misleading statement that could cause a reader to make an incorrect decision
  • Outdated information that hasn’t yet been caught by our review cycle
  • A misattributed source or broken link to an official source

We do not consider a correction:

  • Editorial opinion or industry commentary
  • Recommendations you disagree with (though we welcome discussion — email us)

How to submit a correction

Email help@americanriverwellnessrecovery.com with:

  1. The URL of the article in question
  2. The specific sentence or claim you believe is incorrect
  3. The correct information (if you know it)
  4. A source or citation, if possible

How quickly we respond

  • We acknowledge every correction request within 5 business days.
  • If a correction is warranted, we revise the article and log the change at the top with an “Updated [date] to reflect [correction]” note.
  • If we determine the original was accurate, we reply explaining why with source citations.
